U.C. Merced Project Ground-up construction of the entire site included surveying for grading and paving, utilities, a bridge, a tunnel, and buildings requiring ground level and elevated control. Two survey crews using GPS and robotic equipment succesfully meet the needs of many different trades. A comprehensive digital terrain model and many control surveys to facilitate the use of GPS controlled grading equipment were also provided.
