White Rock Park

This project is a retrofit of an approximately 12 acre existing park adjacent to Highway 50 in Rancho Cordova. The park design included a new 3,000 s.f. community center, an approximately 4,000 sqft interactive water spray park and spray structure, a new playground, a children’s discovery zone, two pre-fabricated shade structures (30’x30’ and 15’x20’), an approximately 400 sqft pre-engineered pump room, three additional basketball courts, picnic facilities, a new parking lot, vegetated stormwater bioswales and new safety lighting throughout the park and new pedestrian circulation walks. Special emphasis was placed on preserving mature trees in the park and a comprehensive tree protection plan was prepared with the plans and specifications.
