Storm Water Compliance

Storm water compliance issues are here to stay. California regulations on storm water management have been expanded from water quality and erosion control to also include non-storm water discharges and dust control. Compliance is regulated by permits obtained through the State Water Resources Control Board web site. Services related to SWPPP preparation and implementation are now provided only by State certified QSDs and QSPs. We help our clients with development of compliance plans and provide expert guidance through the permit and construction process.

O’Dell currently provides the following services related to SWPPP and State permitting processes:

  • QSD (Qualified SWPPP Developer)
  • QSP (Qualified SWPPP Practitioner)
  • Storm Water Multiple Application and Report Tracking System – SMARTS
  • Monitoring
  • Risk Level Determination
  • Erosivity Waiver Determination
  • SWPPP Consultation (for smaller projects not requiring the State Permit)
  • Erosion Control Plans
